There are angels among us...

This is our tree topper made by my daughter many years ago. We still use it and have no intentions of replacing it with a store bought angel. I think it's beautiful. I keep it in a cupboard behind glass doors the rest of the year where I can look at it all year long. Many of our tree ornaments are handmade by the children over the years. As a child my mother had a small blue metal bell on the tree every year. I still remember that bell. My sister now has it and puts it on her tree every year. When the family gathers at her house where our mom also lives we look to see if the bell is there in a prominent place...and it always is.
