One of the best videos ever produced

This has to be one of the best videos ever produced explaining what has happened to the American public school population. Ever wonder why your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews who attend public school act like unsociable zombies? Here is your answer!

State run re-education gulags?

According to this article by Kurt Nimmo at Infowars.com, the Department of Homeland Security has labeled homeschoolers as terrorists. While DHS refers to us as terrorists Infowars appropriately refers to public schools as "youth internment centers" and "state run re-education gulags". Are parents willingly accepting less and less freedom for more and more so-called security?

DOJ declares mothers only good for broodmare status

So, according to the U.S. Department of Justice, we mothers are no longer necessary for the raising of children and children have no right to have a mother.

DOJ: Children Do Not Need--and Have No Right To--Mothers

I guess we mothers, in these United States of America, are now being relegated to broodmare status.

Washington state public school spins coffin as isolation booth

No matter how you slice this crap pie, it's still a padded coffin and children are being stuffed into it as a disciplinary tactic. Some people are just evil and this is sick beyond words.

In case you were wondering why hordes of children are coming out of public school so screwed up they can't function in today's society, this is just one of those many reasons. Maybe it's time to start locking the teachers and administrators in these so-called isolation booths to see how they like it. Think it would change their ridiculous behavior?

If you locked your child in a closet like this at home you'd be arrested for child abuse, so why is the school allowed to get away with this shit? Heck, you'd probably even be arrested if you did this to your dog. No decent parent would allow their child anywhere near a school that does crap like this...PERIOD!

This is a coffin, no matter how you spin it! The people responsible for putting a child in this contraption are evil. The person who created this contraption is evil. The person who installed it is evil. The person who ordered and authorized this upright coffin is evil. The parent who gives permission to use this casket on their child is evil.

What have we become when we lock children away in a padded, darkened box simply because the adults they are depending on to keep them safe, have decided they cannot deal with them any other way? Parents need to get their children out of public schools now. Even associating with this evil institution makes me question your sincerity as a parent to nurture and protect your own child from these evil psychopaths.

Can your child still learn without electricity and gasoline?

Since Hurricane Sandy recently visited the East coast, the headlines keep getting creepier and creepier. Take, for instance this one from the New York Post:

Chaos reigns at free gas fiasco

“The guidance is to get gas to first responders, but we’re also pushing regular people through,” admitted Captain Terry Benson of the National Guard’s 69th Infantry Regiment.

But regular people like Belaniel Daley were fed up.

“I’ve been at the front of the line for 2 1/2 hours and now they want to move the tanker and they’re just giving to the first responders, who I’m sure are getting gas for their family and friends,” said Daley, 45. “I need this gas to get my kid to school.”

After living through Hurricane Irene here in Vermont in 2011, it's not difficult to understand what can transpire during the aftermath. Basements get flooded, businesses get destroyed, whole homes get washed away and people die. The world, as you know it, is gone. There are weeks and weeks of mucking out toxic mud. There are piles and piles of debris and trash to haul away. There are bad dreams and insecurities to deal with.

I'm not a heartless person, but it behooves me to understand, why amongst all this chaos and confusion, someone's priorities would be focused on returning their child to 'school' when everyone around them have barely enough to eat and are without basic shelter, clothing and security. Daley's statement about needing gas to "get my kid to school" strikes me as rather odd and selfish. As though, getting the children of New York City back into schooling were some sort of wonderful or divine accomplishment.

As veteran homeschoolers we all know her 'kid' will learn whether he/she returns to school or not. That's just the way children are designed. Unless Daley's own home is totally devoid  of books, activities and experiences for her child, that youngster will still learn, in or out of school, with or without electricity or gasoline. Of course, there could be extenuating circumstances that are driving this mom to get her child back into school so soon after this natural disaster. It just seems to me that focusing one's energy and resources toward getting your 'kid' back to public schooling so soon after all this devastation is a misplaced priority.

We're being hornswoggled into collapse by our own ignorance

Anyone, besides me, ready to go back to the horse and buggy days? I mean literally? I grew up on a rural Vermont farm with 9 brothers and sisters. We were 2 miles from the village and 13 miles from the nearest city. We were self-sufficient, rarely saw doctors, made or grew most everything we needed and we were happy. My siblings and I learned how to milk cows, ride and drive horses, grow gardens, raise livestock, fish, hunt, fix things, forage and we learned how to get along. As children nature was our toy box. We resembled the Waltons in many ways. We walked the 2 miles to a two-room schoolhouse for grades 1-6, along with about 12 neighbor children, or to ride the school bus for high school six miles away.

If the present economic situation in this country keeps deteriorating and we're eventually forced to shut down transit, the box stores, the albatross public schools and other entities, we'll need to become LOCAL once again, the way it was 100 years ago. By local I mean we’ll get most of our supplies and fulfill our needs closer to home. We’ll be more dependent on local businesses, friends, family and neighbors. I can deal with that. For me, I can return to my roots and I know I'll be fine. But, what about you?

We need to weed out the welfare system, the public school system, the banking system, the political system and focus our military on protecting our nation, not policing the world. Taxes are eating everyone alive and for what? Parents live in fear of government with every decision they make concerning their child's welfare and upbringing. This is a major reason why I hammer down on public schooling so hard because that is one of the main places where all this nonsense is bred. People are so hornswoggled by the schools we have an uneducated citizenry that can't function properly anymore.

If we're 'forced' to dial back our present day existence people will have to rethink this calamity we're in. Some (maybe many) people will get hurt but with any disaster it has a way of bringing out the best in us. I want to see this world return to a more meaningful way of life on a more humane level. Sure, I use the internet, electric grid, my vehicle for business and joy riding, but if all that stopped I’d adapt. I’d overcome and I’d improvise too, just like the Marines.

The politicians in this country are out of control. The state and federal governments are out of control. Taxes and inflation are out of control. Police departments and social workers are out of control. Public schools are out of control. Debt is out of control. Bankers have long been out of control and the mainstream media is too controlled. A total collapse, if it’s going to happen, can’t arrive soon enough for me. Let’s get this pain over with. Let’s get on with recovering and living in a less complicated and corrupt world.

Charlotte Iserbyt reveals the truth about public schooling: We lost our country and your vote no longer matters

This is a chilling video but Iserbyt is open and honest about the history of American education. Iserbyt explains why and how we lost our country. Ever wonder why people say their vote doesn't count? There is no difference between the two main political parties. Public schools are NOT about education. Parents are realizing this and turning to homeschooling in increasing numbers, but is it too late? How much longer will we be allowed to homeschool before it comes to a screeching halt? Can Americans stomach another revolution? Can we take back our country and our constitution? Do you want your children to be the fodder that keeps feeding the public school monster?

Forced public schooling has led us to the gates of hell

(Warning: violence, profanity, nudity and deeply moving images of broken children)

Our leaders have led us to the gates of hell. Some have already passed through. Will the remainder of us be forced to enter or will we be able to pull back and save our own humanity?

Homeschoolers have the freedom to learn and teach the truth. We have a duty to reciprocate and allow others the opportunity to act upon this information. You can believe what you are told by our leaders and in the media, or you can seek out the truth for yourself.  This is a powerful video. Watch. Learn. Believe or not believe. It is your choice.

Just one more piece to the puzzle why free-thinking and independent homeschoolers are seen as a threat to the status quo.

Is your child "damaged goods already marked for failure"?

In 1992 Mark Tucker, known as the Music Man of Education Reform, wrote his famous 18 page letter to Hillary Clinton to congratulate her on winning the presidential election. Not much has changed since he penned the letter and education in this country has gone from bad to worse under Bush-1, the Clintons (yes, they thought of themselves as a team), Bush-2 and now Obama. It seems the only reform education gets in this country is the catchy little name put on the programs that are implemented by each administration: Goals 2000, Outcome Based Education, School-To-Work, No Child Left Behind, etc.

For those of you who remember this letter, it caused quite a stir. Once this idea took hold of the public schools in the form of OBE, homeschooling took off like a greyhound out of the starting gate. Tucker's cradle to grave idea is still around and much has been written about it. OBE was regretfully legislated into many states but here in Vermont it was allowed into our schools through the back door, thanks to a few old codgers looking to get their names engraved on some state owned buildings.

The most offensive part of Tucker's ideas that the politicians were thrilled to go along with, was his idea that children were simply considered as human resources. You know, sort of like chattel to be herded about and whipped into conformity. Everything was planned out for your child from birth because the government wanted to make sure (and still does) your child is prepared for the work force. If you didn't comply and your child wasn't properly primed using state standards, or if your child had learning disabilities, then your child could be considered "damaged goods already marked for failure". What happens to damaged goods? Take a look around. Just who, exactly, is creating the damaged goods? How much longer can America survive when its public schools continue to follow this path of non-education?
