Want a Healthier Family? 12 Health Benefits of Homeschooling

Want a Healthier Family? 12 Health Benefits of Homeschooling

Yet another great article by the brilliant Linda Dobson. As a parent of grown homeschoolers she and many others like her could have just walked away after raising their children. With our collective experience and passion for homeschooling I'm happy to see so many of us still helping other parents learn about this natural and historic way to educate children. Thank you, Linda!

Excellent article! Thanks for re-sharing here. I think I am going to post that on my blog as well (with due credit and a link to Ms. Dobson's site of course), for those that always want to tout the benefits of public school over homeschooling, lol. We definitely have our own sleep schedules that would not be met if in P.S. They play outside, and sometimes school outside, when they can. My oldest son was on antibiotics three times, in a two month period when he was still in public school. Twice for strep (unfortunately, so many parents send their children to school sick) and once for scarlet fever (which is basically strep with a rash). We pulled him out of school in late October of that year. That was 2005. He's been on antibiotics TWICE in all the years since. That is a huge benefit to homeschooling, in and of itself. :)

Again, thanks for re-sharing!
