Are you ready? Ever hear the saying: 'going to hell in a hand basket'? Well, that's where this country is headed under our present day leadership.

Today I heard the term 'Hooverbama economy' for the first time on Greg Hunter's Youtube channel. It's a perfect name for what we are witnessing happening to America, not to mention worldwide. A fellow named Gregory Mannarino coined this apropos term 'Hooverbama economy' and it should scare the bejeebers out of you.

Greg Hunter, a former investigative correspondent, is probably one of the best resources online for information on the overall economy and world news, not only for his updates but for the indepth interviews he does with other knowledgeable people. Usually, by the end of each interview, Greg manages to get recommendations from the interviewee on what to look for and how we can protect ourselves during the economic collapse.



Are homeschoolers prepared for the fall of America? I know 'the fall of America' sounds harsh but indicators are all pointing to just such a scenario. One of the beauties of homeschooling is the freedom to learn what we want, when we want and how we want. Our children are better informed and are not brainwashed by the establishment public school. Occupy Peace: No Foreign Entanglements!

Gerald Celente is a one-man army of common sense.

I, for one, am tired of war. We were fighting in Korea when I was a child. My older brother was serving in the Army at the time. We were fighting in Vietnam when I was a teenager. Two of my older brothers were serving in the Army and Navy at the time. After high school I joined the Army and worked in military hospitals where servicemen returned from war with unspeakable injuries. While I was in college our Marines were being blown up in foreign countries. When my son was an infant we went to war in Iraq. Here in America we have a civil war between the races, the sexes and the haves and the have-nots, thanks to the Divider-in-Chief in the White House and a corrupt Congress.

It's time for some peace and quiet. It's time to put America first and repair within. We need to raise informed children who know world history and the truth behind war. War is not about freedom and democracy. War is about power and money. We need to step away from public schooling and learn the truth. We need to step away from mass media and learn the truth. We need to step away from our own notion of freedom and learn what our Founding Fathers knew about liberty.

There are lots and lots more homeschoolers today. When we began our homeschooling journey over 28 years ago, homeschoolers were few and far between. Many were homeschooling 'under the radar' but some of us were willing to plow the way for future generations by being vocal and highly visible.

Interviews, such as this, are great to see how other homeschooling moms approach education and child rearing. They can be inspirational and informative, as well as encouraging. Not all mom's will have a college degree in teaching but don't let that stop you from providing your child with the best learning environment you can muster. In fact, I've discovered over the years some of the best homeschooling parents are drop-outs. They don't bring to their homeschool all the educational theory and baggage some parents with degrees have.

PA Homeschool Dad Pays Property Taxes in Dollar Bills

This homeschooling dad is terrific. Watch him pay $7,143.00 of his $10,000.00 property taxes in dollar bills and some change. He homeschools his three children and doesn't utilize the public school. His argument is we are being coerced into paying for something we don't need or want (very true) and we shouldn't live in fear of losing our homes if we don't cough up the dough that pays the union thugs (my words) who run the public schools.

We all know school boards are as useless as tits on a bull because their main function is to extort as much cash as they can from taxpayers, in order to appease the union thugs who control this monopoly. The video is approximately 14 minutes long but well worth watching.

Kudos homeschool dad for standing up for your rights and for giving us this visual to pass along to other patriots.

'Tis the season to remember the reason

This is the Christmas 'Flash Mob' by Journey of Faith at a shopping mall in California, packed with holiday shoppers on December 18, 2010. It just recently crossed my path.

In the face of adversity, doubt and defeat, we always somehow manage to get turned back around to the peace, faith and strength that is meant to grace our loving hearts.

Just had to share with you all. Gave me goosebumps and made me cry. Overwhelmingly joyous and wonderful how the unsuspecting shoppers spontaneously join in. Kudos to the artist who created, planned and choreographed this. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for this inspirational moment in time and thank you for sharing!

Forced public schooling has led us to the gates of hell

Why 50% of Americans are considered illiterate and why public schooling is destroying this once great nation

"Nelson, wake up! That is what we want...a math that the pupils cannot apply to life situations when they get out of school!"

According to this short video 20% of Americans are unable to find the United States on a map and 50% of them cannot read beyond an 8th grade level. Parents need to start getting their children out of public schooling as quickly as they can if they want to save the life of their child and truly educate them.

Wow, frugal living at its best. There's even room for the pet cat! I know what Debra means by having a large home and filling it up to the point where you don't know what you have in it anymore. Yeah, it's definitely time to downsize here at my house.
